Product Overview

DDR is a type of SDRAM that supports data transfers on both edges of each clock cycle (the rising and falling edges), effectively doubling the memory chip's data throughput. DDR-SDRAM also consumes less power, which makes it well-suited to notebook computers. Manufactured using premium brand chips from Samsung, Hyundai, NEC etc, OFFTEK offers PC-266 (PC2100), PC-333 (PC2700), PC-400 (PC3200) compliant modules.

A 172 Pin DDR MicroDimm consists of a number of memory components that are attached to a PCB (Printed Circuit Board) and are approximately 50% smaller than standard SoDimms. They are utilised in the latest laptop/notebook computers and networking applications that require high performance DDR memory. 

These modules enable the further miniaturization of light-weight portable computers that will provide consumers with more convenience without sacrificing performance. There are no cutouts along the row of gold pins on the bottom of the module.
